Virginia beach
skatepark:
I have been going to the Virginia Beach skatepark(vbsp) ever since I started skating. There are a lot of mixed feeling on park skating but I really enjoy it myself, probaly because I dont get a chance to do it very often. This park has a perfect 6'x28' miniramp and a 13'x36' vert ramp that is also very good. They are always changing the street course but there are a couple constants. There is a very long kinking and curving 6 ft. quarter pipe on one side and two quarter pipes with a sort of wallride thingy in the middle. There are also usually some fly boxes and various things in the middle. The park isnt too big but is a lot of fun and is usually not too crowded.
street:
Street skating in Virginia beach is alright but nothing spectacular. On sixteenth street there are some nice waxed half moon curbs and a few more waxed ledges. At the end of the boardwalk there are some nice stairs and some ok rails. A few more curbs, rails, and gaps can be found by skating down atlantic and pacific avenue but nothing too great. Personally,I have more fun at the park but maybe I just dont know all of the spots on street even though ive been there pretty much.
